An irresistible creeping carpet of color. “Formosa Carpet' produces small, five-petaled white flowers that turn into sweet flavorful amber-colored raspberries atop hairy, but thorn-less stems late spring to early summer. The deep evergreen maple-shaped leaves turn a deep red in the fall and winter adding additional seasons of color. This is a vigorous and versatile edible plant that boasts fruit with good flavor.

Versatile uses! Although this variety spreads like a carpet, spring bulbs can sprout through the creeping canes. It gets along with annuals and other perennials and works almost as living mulch for them. Recommended uses include cascading over walls, in garden paths or container planting. Can be easily pruned after flowering or fruiting.
