Exquisite and rare, these sapphire-blue trumpets are a sight to behold!
Includes two plantable plugs of 'Blue Heron' Corydalis.
Clusters of tubular bright blue blooms turn yards into enchanting landscapes! With a slight fragrance, these trumpet-shaped flowers gracefully hang against blue-green foliage and reddish stems. Measuring 8 to 10 inches tall and 10 to 12 inches wide, the upright, mounded plant grows as a tidy clump topped by stunning blossoms.

Is this for you?
A favorite amongst gardeners and nectar-loving pollinators! Depending on your region, 'Blue Heron' can easily extend its blooming season if kept in a moist, shaded garden area. This new cultivar has some of the largest and darkest Corydalis blossoms to date and a sweet fragrance that attracts butterflies.

Large sapphire-blue flowers bloom from mid to late spring. 'Blue Heron' is perfect for woodland gardens with regular moisture, shaded perennial borders, and containers on a shady deck.

Enjoy a volunteer-free garden spot! Unlike other Corydalis varieties, 'Blue Heron' will not self-seed or take over the garden. Thriving in partial to fully shaded areas, it grows well in sandy to clay soil types and both alkaline and acidic soils. Corydalis may go dormant in the summer if planted in an area that is too hot or dry.

Can be grown throughout most of the continental U.S. An excellent value and investment in any landscape. **This product cannot ship to the following states and territories AK, HI, PR, VI, GUAM.

What to expect:
Plants ship to you based on your geographic location. We ship throughout the spring, starting in early March. Your shipment will be based on the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map which we have correlated to your zip code. This means you will receive your plants when it is the right time to plant for you.

You will receive two 2-inch plantable plugs of Corydalis 'Blue Heron'. These plants were carefully selected and packed for safe transport directly to you. Open immediately and follow the instructions for planting and care in the planting guide available online.

Expect your plants to reach maturity in 12 to 24 months. However, growth can be affected by many factors including fertilization and climate factors unique to your planting location.

Expect heaviest blooming in mid spring with continuous blooming until late spring. You may see a few flowers the first year with more and more flowers each year as the plants grow.
