This patio-perfect thornless blackberry was bred with urban gardens in mind!
Includes one pot of Bushel and Berry™ 'Baby Cakes™' Blackberry.
Large, sweet blackberries ripen in a fireworks-like display atop a dwarf-sized plant. Well-branched with an upright habit, 'Baby Cakes™' fits conveniently in any urban garden, patio planter, or small garden bed.

Is this for you?
Both decorative and delicious! 'Baby Cakes™' is large enough to produce a plentiful harvest, yet compact enough to grow on the patio without a trellis. Its thornless canes bear fruit at the top of the plant – the perfect height for picking. Butterfly lovers will enjoy watching pollinators explore the dainty white flowers that open each spring.

Indulge your sweet tooth with healthy fruit from your own patio. Ideal for containers and edible landscapes, 'Baby Cakes™' will be covered with white blooms each spring. Its sweet, delicious berries ripen in mid-summer with a second crop ready to harvest in mid-fall.

'Baby Cakes™' is self-fertile and easy-to-grow! Best grown in full sun, this dwarf blackberry adapts to various soil types and requires little upkeep.

Grows well throughout most of the continental U.S. Unfortunately, this product cannot ship to the following states and territories: AK, HI, PR, VI, GUAM.

What to expect:
Plants ship to you based on your geographic location. We ship throughout the spring, starting in early March. Your shipment will be based on the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map which we have correlated to your zip code. This means you will receive your plants when it is the right time to plant in your area of the country.

You will receive one 'Baby Cakes™' Blackberry in a 5.5-inch pot. This plant was carefully selected and packed for safe transport directly to you. Open immediately and follow the instructions for planting and care in the planting guide available online.

Plant reaches maturity in 2 to 3 years. However, growth can be affected by many factors including fertilization and climate factors unique to your planting location.

Heaviest fruiting occurs in summer with a second crop in ripening in fall. You will see a crop of berries in summer of the second year with the harvest increasing each year as the plant grows.
